Brad will skip Cannes because Angelina is ready to give birth any moment now in Namibia. In the first statement from the couple since the buzz began over the weekend about Angelina's doctor arriving at their rented out resort for more frequent checkups, Brad Pitt sent his regards by email to the cast and crew of his film Babel, telling them he would be unable to join them at the Cannes Film Festival. He said, "With the imminent arrival of the newest addition to our family, I am unable to join Alejandro, Cate, Gael and the rest of the cast and crew introducing the film."

Also, a very reliable source has confirmed that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's baby is a girl and that her Los Angeles obstetrician is in Namibia and that Angelina Jolie has scheduled a c-section the first week of June. We can't wait!
